The Minds Behind Land Of Nod
Childhood friend’s Scott Eirinberg and Jamie Cohen have grown up together and co-founded Land of Nod. The Northbrook based company what was once only a catalogue but now has expanded into a store that sells kid’s furniture and other knick-knacks. Their business took off when they themselves began having kids and were looking around for furniture to decorate their children’s nurseries.
They found that there was no happy medium when it comes to children’s furniture. There was either high end, super expensive furniture from children’s boutiques or cheaply made, mass-produced, warehouse furniture.
Crate and Barrel formed a deal with the growing company and now there are multiple locations filled with imaginative and unique pieces for your children.
The furniture is often theme related to invoke your children’s wildest dreams, from rocking horses to fairy-tale beds. Land of Nod also appeals to kid’s with style. They sell fancier furniture at moderate prices. They also began selling toys and children’s books so your children will enjoy a trip to Land of Nod, as well. It is a play ground of children’s furniture.
